Terms & Conditions - the basics

1. Our Services

C&J Vehicle Logistics & Recovery provides:

  • Vehicle recovery services

  • Vehicle transport and logistics

  • Non-runner vehicle collection

  • Salvage transport

  • UK & European vehicle delivery services

All services are subject to availability and operational conditions.


2. Bookings & Payments

  • All bookings must include accurate vehicle and collection details.

  • Prices provided are estimates unless confirmed in writing.

  • Additional charges may apply for:

    • Incorrect vehicle information

    • Delays outside our control

    • Storage fees

    • Tolls, ferries, congestion charges, or customs fees

  • Payment terms will be agreed before transport or recovery begins.

  • Vehicles may not be released until full payment has been received.


3. Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for:

  • Providing correct vehicle details and collection/delivery information

  • Ensuring the vehicle is legally owned or authorised for transport

  • Removing personal belongings before transport

  • Informing us of any mechanical faults, damage, leaks, or modifications

C&J Vehicle Logistics & Recovery accepts no responsibility for personal items left inside vehicles.


4. Vehicle Condition

  • We recommend customers photograph the vehicle before collection.

  • Existing damage should be reported before transport.

  • Vehicles must be roadworthy unless declared as non-runners or salvage vehicles.

  • Non-running vehicles must still be safe to load and transport.


5. Delays & Cancellations

While we aim to provide fast and reliable service, delays may occur due to:

  • Traffic

  • Weather conditions

  • Accidents

  • Ferry or border delays

  • Mechanical breakdowns

  • Circumstances beyond our control


We reserve the right to reschedule services where necessary.

Cancellation charges may apply if:

  • A booking is cancelled after dispatch

  • The driver has already travelled to the collection point

  • Incorrect information was provided

 

6. Liability

  • All vehicles are transported at the owner’s risk unless otherwise agreed.

  • We are fully insured for transport and recovery operations.

  • Our liability is limited to the value covered under our insurance policy.

  • We are not responsible for:

    • Mechanical or electrical failures

    • Pre-existing damage

    • Delays outside our control

    • Loss of earnings or indirect losses

Any claims must be reported within 24 hours of delivery.

 

7. Refusal of Service

We reserve the right to refuse service if:

  • A vehicle is unsafe to transport

  • There is abusive or threatening behaviour

  • Information provided is false or misleading

  • Payment terms are not agreed

All content on this website, including logos, images, and text, remains the property of C&J Vehicle Logistics & Recovery unless stated otherwise.

Users must not copy, reproduce, or misuse website content without permission.
